Asterwise computes positions with the Swiss Ephemeris. We checked 80 tropical longitudes (10 bodies at 8 instants between 1950 and 2050) against NASA JPL Horizons: the median difference was 0.050 arcseconds, the 95th percentile 0.231 arcseconds, and 79 of 80 positions agreed within half an arcsecond. The raw data and the script to repeat the check are published.

Official SDKs exist for Python (pip install asterwise) and TypeScript (npm install asterwise), both generated from the OpenAPI document with full type coverage for all 117 endpoints. There is also a LangChain wrapper, an n8n community node and a Postman collection. The REST API works from any language that can make HTTPS requests.
What is a Jyotish API?
A Jyotish API is a REST API that provides Vedic astrology calculations programmatically. Jyotish is the Sanskrit term for Vedic astrology. Asterwise is a Jyotish API: sidereal natal charts with a choice of ayanamsa, divisional charts, five-level Vimshottari Dasha, yogas, doshas, panchanga, muhurta and kundli matching with Rajju and Vedha applied as vetoes, all returned as structured JSON.
