Refund Policy
How subscriptions and the free Sandbox work when it comes to money, and exactly how to ask for a refund.
Try before you pay
The Sandbox plan is free forever: 500 calls a month, no card required. Every paid plan reaches the exact same endpoints, so you can validate the full API before spending anything.
Because the entire surface is available for free, we expect you to confirm the API fits before subscribing.
Subscriptions
Paid plans (Builder, Launch, Scale) are billed monthly in advance through Dodo Payments. You can cancel anytime from the dashboard; cancellation stops the next renewal and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate or refund partial months once a billing period has started, except where required by law.
First charge
If you were charged in error (a duplicate charge, say, or a charge immediately after a failed cancellation), contact us within 7 days and we will make it right.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from your account email with your invoice ID (find it under Billing in the dashboard) and a short note on what happened. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Dodo Payments, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Disputes & chargebacks
If something looks wrong, talk to us first; we are fast and reasonable. Filing a chargeback before contacting us may result in suspension of the account while the dispute is resolved.
