Security & your data
You're trusting us with calculations your product depends on. Here, in plain terms, is how we keep your requests and your data safe.
All systems operational · live status ↗Encrypted & signed
Everything travels over HTTPS, and we sign every response so you can confirm a result came from us and arrived untouched.
Keys you control
Separate live and test keys, yours to rotate or revoke any time. Connect an AI assistant and it stays read-only: it can calculate, never change your account.
Your data stays yours
Export everything in one call, or delete your account whenever you like. We never sell your data or use the birth details you send to train models.
Always the same answer
The engine is deterministic: the same inputs always return the same result. That makes what we compute easy to verify and easy to trust.
What we keep, and for how long
We hold on to as little as we can: your account details, and the usage records that power your dashboard and billing. The birth dates, times, and places you send to calculation endpoints are just inputs to a calculation, not a profile we build about anyone.
You're always in control. Export your data anytime, delete your account when you're done, and your day-to-day usage records age out automatically on a rolling 90-day window.
Because the same inputs always produce the same result, we keep a short-lived cache so repeat calculations come back instantly. It expires on its own, and it's never linked to a person or used for anything else.
Who helps us run Asterwise
We work with a small, carefully chosen set of providers. Each one only ever sees the slice of data it needs to do its job, nothing more.
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Railway | Hosts the API, database, and cache |
| Cloudflare | Delivers the website and docs quickly and securely |
| Dodo Payments | Our merchant of record; handles checkout and billing, so card details never touch our servers |
| Resend | Sends account email like sign-in and password resets |
| Optional sign-in with your Google account |
