Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account or calling the API, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are between you and Asterwise Labs Private Limited (CIN U62011HR2025PTC136714).

The service

Asterwise provides a REST API and MCP server that compute Vedic and Western astrology results from inputs you supply, plus SDKs and a dashboard to manage access. We compute to engineering standards: deterministic results, an arc-second ephemeris, and HMAC-signed responses. We do not provide advice, predictions of fact, or professional consultation. The output is a computation you choose how to use.

Accounts & API keys

You are responsible for your account, your API keys, and all activity under them. Keep keys secret; rotate or revoke them from the dashboard if exposed. Keys identify and bill your usage, so sharing them is at your own risk. You must be able to form a binding contract to hold an account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Exceed, circumvent, or probe the rate limits and quotas of your plan.
• Resell, redistribute, or proxy raw API access.
• Use the service to break the law, infringe rights, or harm others.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform.

We may suspend access that threatens the platform's integrity or other customers.

Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor, Dodo Payments, who acts as merchant of record. Your plan sets a monthly call quota and a per-minute burst limit. Calls beyond your quota may be rejected or require an upgrade. Plans renew automatically until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy.

API changes & deprecation

We version the API and SDKs. We may add endpoints and fields at any time. For breaking changes to existing behavior, we aim to give reasonable notice and a migration path. We will not silently change the meaning of a signed result.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is." Astrological output is computed from classical rules and the inputs you provide; it is not a statement of fact, medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asterwise's total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law
